It did help find me. My mother took me while my dad was at work. My school was going on Easter break. Basically a long weekend, not spring break. She had her boyfriend check me out. Back in 83 it wasn't tracked like now. My mom and her boyfriend took me up to Watertown, NY. On the way, we stayed with people. They thought I was cute as a button, so it helped get us a place to stay. We stayed with a family that was very religious and I went to school briefly with their kids. Then my mom and her boyfriend made them made because they lied. Their son finally said he saw me on a milk carton. After I was at a school in Riverside, NY, for a few months, the cops arrested my mom and her boyfriend. The cops told my dad the son was the key. I eventually got back with my dad that summer. I have both my 4th grade photo and the blow up they used for the carton in my trunk of photo albums. I was one of the kids on a milk carton. It did help find me.
