Hilary Duff Pregnant, Celebrates One Year Anniversary with NHL Hubby Mike Comrie

This past weekend, Hilary Duff, 23, announced that she and her NHL Pittsburgh Penguins hockey player husband, Mike Comrie, are expecting their first child. The former Disney Channel star and her hubby, put out this statement via Duff’s Twitter feed over the weekend, announcing, both, their one year wedding anniversary and Hillary Duff’s pregnancy:

This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary!
In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding!

Very sweet, although I’m sure we are all in need of a little time to adjust to the fact that Hilary Duff is no longer little miss Lizzie McGuire from The Disney Channel, but a grown married woman who is, gasp!, with child! Relax everyone. She is, afterall, married.

As reported by the UK’s Daily Mail, Hilary Duff and her pro-Hockey player husband, Mike Comrie, “have only been married for a year but are looking forward to expanding their family.”

Hil has come a long way since her teen years spent dating Nicole Richie’s husband Benji Madden, and feuding with then fellow teen star and romantic rival Lindsay Lohan, over Aaron Carter. On the professional front, next up for Hilary Duff is a starring role in a remake of 1967′s Bonnie and Clyde (which originally starred Faye Dunaway as Bonnie).
