Kate Hudson’s Estranged Dad Bill Hudson Writes Scathing Tell All Book

Thanks for the sperm Bill, now get lost!

According to multiple reports, Kate Hudson’s long-estranged birth father and Goldie Hawn’s ex, Bill Hudson, is coming out with a tell all memoir to set the record straight about how he was as a father. Bill Hudson has claimed through the years that he has been the victim of what he refers to as “parental alienation,” claiming that his ex, Goldie Hawn, purposefully sabotaged any chance of Hudson having a relationship with his famous children, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson. Bill Hudson further claims that Hawn set up a dynamic where both famous Hudson children would come to think of Goldie’s longtime love, Kurt Russell as their father.

As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, “[Bill Hudson] has always been played as the non-caring, neglectful father. Public opinion has always been in Goldie, Kate and Oliver’s favor.

“Right or wrong, Bill is trying to tell his side of the story.”

In telling his side of the story, Bill Hudson told RadarOnline.com that his movie star daughter is “a spoiled brat,” going on to state that he doesn’t want any of his daughters “millions,” but just wants her to acknowledge and help out her ailing grandmother (Bill Hudson’s mother).

As stated in the Chicago Sun-Times report, “The senior Hudson also will stress in the book that Hawn orchestrated his estrangement from his children. That angle won’t play well with many in Hollywood. A leading studio exec — who said, ‘I don’t really want to get into this squabble.’”

Many Hollywood sources are stepping in to defend Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson, with one stating, “Anyone who has known the family knows that Kurt stepped in to fill a void that Bill obviously created by not paying attention to his kids.

“Any father who truly cares won’t let any ex-wife — even one as influential as Goldie Hawn — prevent him from seeing his children if he has the desire to play a role in their lives.”

I have to say, I agree, and there are always two sides to every story. Should estranged relatives, ex-friends and former employees be allowed to pen tell all books about celebrities?
