RHONJ Melissa Gorga’s Stripper Past Exposed by Bravo

Bravo seems to have reached a new low in ambushing their talent for better ratings, and this time the network’s antics have embarrassed and hurt Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, and Teresa Giudice sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

Apparantly, before meeting Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga and settling into New Jersey suburbanite bliss, Gorga, a fledgling singer, was allegedly a stripper at a strip club called Lookers. While filming a fashion show scene for The Real Housewives of New Jersey at Posche, Melissa Gorga was mortified when her former boss from the strip club, Lookers, was in the crowd, with a body mic on of course (courtesy of Bravo’s production crew), and ready to confront Gorga in public.

According to the Huffington Post, ” “Teresa [Giudice] didn’t want to go because she’s completely over the fake Bravo set-ups; however, no one knew what was about to happen.” AOL Huffington Post also states that upon laying eyes on her old boss, Melissa Gorga “ran away from him and refused to film with him.”

According to on-set sources Gorga felt humiliated at the thought of fellow cast members Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita knowing about this part of her past.

Surprisingly, Teresa Giudice, Gorga’s sister-in-law who Gorga has had problems with in the past, stood up for Gorga and then stormed out of the venue.

A set source told Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter, “Teresa had nothing to do with it, but Jac and Caroline were more than ready to go with it because it makes Teresa look bad. And Bravo will never admit they set it up like they set up Danielle, whose past was also ‘accidentally’ discovered.”

It sounds like a cruel game that Bravo is playing with these womens’ lives.

Shuter also claims that the rest of the cast seems to be rallying around Gorga, and turning their backs on Teresa, who swears that she had nothing to do with the incident that exposed Melissa’s stripper past.

All of this drama comes amidst grumblings that some of the ladies from The Real Housewives of New Jersey are sick of Bravo’s manufactured drama and want out of the franchise.
